About Us

The Queensland Cerebral Palsy Register (QCPR) is a collection of statistics on cerebral palsy from the entire state.

The QCPR was created to gather information that will guide research in causes, prevention, effective treatment and service provision.

De-identified data collected by the register is available for use in research into the cause, incidence and prevalence of cerebral palsy. This information will lead to an improved understanding of the nature and course of cerebral palsy.

The information provided by QCPR members will enhance the planning processes and enable policy formulators to plan using consistent data, which will provide significant benefits to people with cerebral palsy and their families/carers in efficiency and access to services.

The QCPR works in conjunction with other state cerebral palsy registers and the Australian Cerebral Palsy Register to create a comprehensive Australia-wide register for people with cerebral palsy.

Registration is safe, easy and secure. Go to our Registration Section to find out more.
