Publications

The QCPR is involved in two types of publications.

Internal publications

We publish reports detailing the general characteristics of all people in Queensland who have cerebral palsy using the data that is held on the register. We also produce summaries of those publications that we post directly to the registrants.

External publications

External researchers use the QCPR to find paricipants in their projects. These studies need ethics committee approval and typically involve the register sending out invitations to registrants who meet the inclusion criteria for a particular study. The QCPR has no further involvement until the study is published, at which point we put a link to the paper on this web site so participants, and registrants more generally, can see what their contribution is producing.
